Is it right to look out for only yourself?

I believe that people do have the right to look out for ones self but they shouldn’t be resolved around themselves only, but do things for others. For instance if they were getting a gift for a family member instead of thinking of how much it will make you be in debt think about the smile that will be on there face when they open it. Or if there is a canned food drive at school and the teacher asked everyone to bring in at least one can you think “Ugh I don’t want to bring in a can cause it’s to much effort, that’s ok someone else will probably bring in more then one, that one will count for me.” But instead think about how other people need food and it’s selfish to put your need in front of others.

  1. Full of lots of meaning, i very much agree with you. Plus, putting a smile on someone elses face makes it easier to smile too.

  2. I really like what you are saying Rachael. You have a great point about how it isn't OK for someone to go and only think of themselves.
